paths taken spiral
over under through and back
again and again.
in one glance
i watched the layers of the meadow
above and below
dance in counterpoint along the willowy river.
with such ease
i reached out to touch the mountain dryade who lured me
into the river reeds
until she disappeared in the thoughtless current.
limbs stretching reaching
towards away to and from
her sun muse smiles.
the Willow River winds and meanders through the meadow in Wells…
